Webkind is a digital design studio based in Edmonton focused on branding and website design. We work with established businesses across Western Canada that want their online presence to reflect the quality of their work and the direction their business is heading.
We create human-crafted branding and websites, built by people, not prompts. Every project begins with understanding the business behind it and moves through a design process centred on clarity, structure, and a clear path forward.
We understand the need for an upgrade or evolution because we went through it ourselves. As the studio grew, we re-evaluated our offerings, messaging, and direction and realized the original name for our studio, Creative Square, no longer reflected where we were heading. That process ultimately led to Webkind and reinforced something we often see with the businesses we work with — as companies grow, their brand or website sometimes needs to evolve to better represent where they are today.
We exist to give businesses a stronger online foundation.
Over the years, we began to notice a consistent pattern among the businesses we worked with. Many had built strong companies with loyal clients and solid reputations, yet their branding and website no longer reflected the level their business had reached. What often started as a quick solution had gradually become something that held them back.
In many cases, that starting point was a DIY approach — using templates, piecing things together internally, or relying on AI tools to get something live quickly. While those approaches can work early on, they often create limitations as a business grows, leaving companies with an online presence that no longer supports where they are today.
At the same time, a company’s website, brand, and digital presence now shape the first impression long before a potential client ever reaches out. Webkind was built to help established businesses close that gap by focusing on branding, websites, and digital presence — creating a foundation that clearly reflects who they are and where they’re going.

While each business has its own goals and challenges, our work typically moves through four key stages.
1. Discovery

2. Direction
Once we understand the business, we establish a clear direction. This stage focuses on defining structure, refining messaging, and positioning the brand in a way that communicates value with clarity. The goal is to create a strong foundation that guides the design and development work that follows.
3. Design
With a clear direction established, we begin designing the brand identity and website experience. Every visual decision is made intentionally, ensuring the design supports the strategy while presenting the business with clarity and confidence. Structure, usability, and visual cohesion are all carefully considered during this stage.
4. Deployment
The final stage brings everything together. Websites are built, tested, and prepared for launch while brand assets are finalized for real-world use. The result is a cohesive digital presence designed to support the business as it continues to grow.
Meet Our People
Keegan
Founder & Creative Director
Keegan MacIntosh is a designer with more than fifteen years of experience in branding, website design, and digital creative work. Outside of work, he enjoys music and occasionally works as a part-time radio mixshow DJ on KiSS 91.7 in Edmonton.
Kate
Brand & Graphic Designer
Kate is a designer with a strong focus on branding and visual design, bringing a thoughtful and creative approach to every project. Outside of work, she’s a self-proclaimed ski bum who enjoys crafts and trying new breweries.
Keegan leads the creative work at Webkind and serves as the lead strategist, with Kate working alongside him as the studio’s brand and graphic designer. Together, they work closely with clients to create work that feels clear, considered, and aligned with the business it represents.
During his career, Keegan has worked at agencies of all sizes, including large agencies supporting well-known brands. While those environments provided valuable experience, the scale and pace of the work often felt more like a creative factory — focused on constant output rather than thoughtful, well-aligned solutions.
That perspective shaped how Webkind operates today. A smaller, more intentional studio allows for deeper thinking, closer collaboration, and work that is carefully considered from start to finish. Together, Keegan and Kate focus on creating brands and websites that are built with purpose and designed to support real businesses over the long term.
